Is intelligence NATURE OR NURTURE?
Actual definition of intelligence is the ability to think,to learn from experience, to solve problems and to adapt to new situations. The level of IQ does'nt rely on age or gender. It is improved by education i.e, education has an casual effect on IQ. There is at least some truth to the idea that smarter people have bigger brains but they frequently show less brain activity when compared to the one who is not smarter. Few may have doubt whether "INTELLIGENCE IS NATURE OR NURTURE?". The answer to this question is intelligence has both genetic and environmental causes but 60-80% of the variability in IQ is due to genetics. Hence we can say that genetics plays a bigger role than environment does in creating IQ differences among individuals. The role of genetics gets stronger as we(humans) grow older .We can conclude this topic by saying, intelligence is important because it has an impact on many human behaviors and the average increase in IQ is about 3 points for every 10 years.
